Over the years there have been various ways in which Alarm Receiving Centres have been able to share data with Alarm Management Centres (ARCS). In the majority of cases, this has been through a process of importing comma- separated value or .csv files, sent periodically from the ARC and manually uploaded. There are a few exceptions where periodic transmission is possible, say once a day. However, reaching a place where two-way communication is achieved in real time has not been available until now.

For the last 12 months, EMCS and InstallerPro have been working on an integrated solution and are happy to announce ARC Link.

Arc Link is a real-time connection between EMCS’s management system and InstallerPro management software.
Alters from EMCS are shared live, including fully-detailed logs enabling live responses to be executed and tracked inside InstallerPro. The integration goes further to allow the synchronisation of client data, site information and keyholders between the systems. As records are edited in the system, EMCS’s database is updated with logs confirming the changes.
The integration extends out to the Remote Engineer functions within InstallerPro allowing companies that use EMCS as their ARC to put systems on test at the touch of a button and even to request an extended test, directly via a link to EMCS technical support.

If that wasn’t enough, InstallerPro will log all events and integrate the data automatically, with call-out monitoring and response reporting so that manual recording will be a thing of the past.
